Born in Rome on December 27th, 1931.
He graduated from Sapienza University of Rome in 1954 with a thesis on commercial law.
He won the Cassa di Risparmio di Roma Prize for the best thesis in the year 1954.
He was admitted to the Rome Register of Lawyers in 1958, and to the Register of lawyers able to appear before the Supreme Court in 1968.
He began practising in 1956 at the firm of Professor Francesco Carnelutti and gained early experience in international contracts.
Since 1990 he has been in partnership with Antonio Rizzo.
He has broad experience in company, commercial, contract, international, navigation and transport law.
In addition to his professional activity he has been on the boards of a range of well-known italian companies.
He is a member of the Italian Association of Transport Lawyers, Italian Association of European Jurists and the Association of Lawyers for Europe.
